Opie, my blind boston terrier needs emergency medical care & I’m hoping to start a raffle to help get Opie the vet care he needs. Earlier this week Opie stopped being able to hold his bladder in his sleep. We knew right away this was not normal for a 10 month old puppy, blind or not. Tuesday afternoon we brought him to the veterinary office for an exam. They looked the little guy over and told us after they took blood and urine that his urine came back normal but his blood showed an elevated white blood cell count. Which brought them to the conclusion Opie has something called a Kidney Stent. This causes Opies bladder to not be able to drain properly and is sending trace amounts of urine into his blood stream. To find out more they need to get an ultrasound of Opies kidneys and liver. This is a very costly procedure so we are hoping to start a raffle to help with the cost.
The raffle would be for every $5 donated to Opies care, would get your name thrown in for the raffling of a FingerDukes.com t-shirt. This is a local Kitsap County company and they have some REALLY cool stuff. You get the t-shirt of your choice off of their website in the size of your choice & also some home made healthy doggy treats.
If you know or have met Opie you know this booger deserves this. I wish I could do it on my own but I just don’t see that happening so I’m asking for your help. I would make a video explaining more but I’m just too awkward and emotional to get my point across. For anyone who helped out the first time we needed extra help with Opie. Thank you.
